Orteş(It couldve been better)
Whoa! A Turkish ripoff paragraph in english?

Orteş is 'made up on the spot' the ship name of Orhan Yavuz and Ateş Hekimoğlu from the Turkish House MD ripoff Hekimoğlu.
The major differences between House MD and Hekimoğlu are the fact that the Foreman equivalent aka Mehmet Ali is the same race as the whole cast, the fact that Ateş and the Cuddy equivalent of the show, İpek are way softer compared to our beloved Greg House and Lisa Cuddy, and the fact that Ateş and his crew, Emre, Mehmet Ali and Zeynep have more of a father-child relationship and last but not least, the fact that the show is only +7 aka a TV-Y7 rating.
The show was cut extremely short with 51 episodes and ended on sort of a conclusion.
Like you probably had guessed from the major differences, most race jokes, homosexuality jokes and some sexual jokes have been cut for the surprisingly family friendly rating, not only cutting most of the jokes me and like three other people(which are my alternative accounts) aka the Orteş council call the Orteş moments.
Like the show being cut a whopping 126 episodes compared to the original wasn't enough, the rating being lower cut even more moments, leaving us with like... Five minutes of Orteş moments. Well that's sarcastic, for the naive people out there, but thats what it sure feels like compared to the original show.
Orteş could've been so, so much better if only the age rating was higher. House was a show that pushed boundaries and Hekimoğlu could have been exactly that in this country aswell, homosexuality AND the jokes about it are looked down upon to this day in this damn country, but this show could have made some people atleast feel a little seen if it had pushed just a few boundaries.
With all that, not only am I sad for the ship i loved in every universe, im also extremely sad for the people that could have been so, so much more accepting of themselves even just with the jokes.
And I am so, so sleepy. It's 01.14 am.
